Meet Your Captain
Jonathan has a genuine passion for ocean angling and takes great pride in operating his own charter business.
He grew up in the northern regions of Southern Africa, fishing with his father from a very young age. Over the years, he gained extensive experience fishing the South African east coast, from Natal to Mozambique, before later exploring the waters of the Western Cape. After relocating to the Western Cape in 2021, Jonathan dedicated himself to mastering the unique local fishing conditions and now specializes in offshore tuna fishing.

We specialize in offshore big-game fishing, with a primary focus on tuna charters launching from Hout Bay Harbour. Our target species include Yellowfin, Longfin (Albacore), Bigeye, and Bluefin tuna— with large Yellowfin being the most prominent.
During the off-season, we expand our operations along the Westcoast and beyond, from St Helena Bay, Yzerfontein through to Struisbaai, targeting species such as Yellowtail and Snoek. In addition to fishing charters, we also offer birding and whale-watching trips for those looking to experience the ocean in a different way.
Our Boat
Our vessel is a 25.5ft Rapidcat, purpose-built for both offshore and coastal conditions. Powered by twin Suzuki 140 outboards and equipped with modern marine electronics, it delivers a smooth, capable, and comfortable ride in a wide range of sea states.
Designed with safety and practicality in mind, the boat allows us to fish efficiently while ensuring guests remain comfortable throughout the day. Whether running offshore in search of tuna or cruising the coastline, everything on board is set up to make your experience easier, safer, and more enjoyable.

Our waters are home to some of the most exciting game fish in South Africa. From hard-fighting tuna offshore to Yellowtail and Snoek along the coast, every species offers a unique challenge — and every trip is shaped by seasonal movement and ocean conditions.
Where we launch from
Our primary launch point is Hout Bay Harbour, providing direct access to deep offshore waters for tuna fishing. Depending on season, conditions, and the type of charter booked, we also launch from various locations along the Western Cape coastline, including St Helena Bay, Yzerfontein, Millers Point, Saldanha, and Struisbaai.
Launch locations are selected to ensure the safest conditions and the best possible fishing or ocean experience on the day.
